SENIOR NIGHT PROGRAM SCRIPT:
Last night Forest Hills Northern held their 38th commencement ceremonies and said goodbye to the class of 2010. Tonight, we celebrate and say goodbye to the soccer programs 20th graduating class.
Looking down from the press box just four years ago, coaches Jamie Bogart and Dave Gillem witnessed four high strung and highly motivated freshman skipping down the track. With their arms stretched out wide symbolizing airplanes, these four individuals landed on the FHN Soccer program. Realizing this was going to be a fun four years, the two coaches could only look at each other and say…”What have we gotten ourselves into?”
Since that moment just four years ago, we have had players come and go and only 3 of the 4 players remain. Joining these three, four year players are two three year players and an outstanding student assistant. Together these 6 student athletes have left their mark, both on and off the field. Combined they carry a 3.71 Overall GPA and will walk away from Forest Hills Northern High School with a astonishing combined total of 49 Athletic Varsity Letters.
Tonight, we will watch as these 6 student athletes lace up their shoes, pull up their socks and put that Northern uniform on, as they step onto their home field just one last time. Four years of tears, sweat, blood and hard work come down to this, their last night, their last moment, and this, their last memory.
As seniors come and go, senior nights’ get harder and harder. This year’s class is no exception as they have reserved a special place in the hearts and memories of two coaches. For four years, coaches Jamie Bogart and Dave Gillem have led this Husky program. Tonight they say goodbye to the first class to have played all four years under their leadership.
Please join Head coach, Jamie Bogart along with assistants, Dave Gillem, Dave Saylor, Brian McKeough, Dan Lipon and Jared Rushlau, Ashley Van Slooten and Carissa Qudor along with the rest of their teammates as tonight, we look back pay tribute and reflect back on four years of hard work and memories these 6 student athletes have given to our Soccer Family.

Madeline’s advice to all the young children on the team is always keep a good attitude, play your absolute hardest, and don’t sneak out on spring break trips; and if you must don’t get caught!
